Part of the Victorian Government’s Better Aged Care Services for Regional Victorians initiative and led by the Victorian Health Building Authority, this new facility on King George Street will be operated by Cohuna District Hospital.
The development delivers a 24-bed facility (16 aged care and 8 acute beds), along with refurbishment works to support staff and hospital operations.
Despite challenges with structural coordination, the team delivered smart solutions, including refined construction methods, steel framing, and 3D modelling, to keep the project on track.
